New Patients

New Patients are warmly welcomed

We totally understand, and we don’t take it personally….a trip to the dentist is not top of the list of fun things to do. We work really hard to change that mindset – we promise we will make you comfortable, give you our best care, utmost respect, and help you get on with your day. Our clinic is brimming with friendly, understanding people who are looking forward to welcoming new patients to our Margaret River practice.

what happens at your first visit?

New Patients AMR Dental Margaret River

When you arrive at our practice, you will be greeted by one of our friendly front desk team and you will be asked to fill in a new patient form (alternatively, you can print one out from our site and bring it with you).

From there you will be escorted in to meet your dentist or hygienist. They will spend some time getting to know you and will have a chat about your oral health and discuss any problems you may be experiencing. If you come to us with an emergency or are experiencing pain, we will get you comfortable as quickly as possible, and from there make a plan for any future dental work needed.

If you are visiting a dentist, you will then get a thorough oral examination. They will check for things like tooth decay, gum disease and anything else that may be effecting your oral, and overall health. Any further treatments will be discussed from there.

We do understand that life and work have a tendency to get in the way sometimes. If you are running late or you are unable to make it to your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. We request 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep your appointment so that we may accommodate other patients and maintain an efficient schedule.

* Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
