Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept health funds?

Yes, we accept all major health funds. Our HICAPS terminals allow claims to be processed instantly with our reception team.

Do you offer emergency dental appointments?

Yes, our dentists are able to help with all tooth-related emergencies, including toothaches, broken teeth, TMJ pain, and gum problems. If you can’t see an available appointment online but need to be seen urgently, please call us during office hours and we may be able to help.

I haven’t been to the dentist in years- is that ok?

Absolutely. Although we recommend keeping up regular visits to maintain your oral health, we understand that life gets in the way sometimes. We pride ourselves on providing non-judgemental, high quality care to all of our patients, no matter how many years it has been. No one should feel embarrassed about their teeth when coming to the dentist- we are here to help you get back on track.

What should I do if I feel nervous for my appointment?

It is completely ok to feel nervous before your dental appointment. We understand that a lot of people have had negative experiences in the past which may have caused some dental anxiety. It is our priority to make our patients are as comfortable as possible, whether it’s through our gentle treatment approach, ceiling-mounted tv, headphones or blankets. If you are feeling a little worried for your appointment, feel free to let us know- we’ll take extra care to guide you through your visit.

Can I refer my family and friends to you?

Absolutely, we love meeting the people who our patients are close to! Our clinic has been built on word of mouth referrals over many years, and we encourage our lovely patients to send over anyone they think would benefit from our service.

Do you offer cosmetic treatments like tooth whitening?

Yes, we offer a range of cosmetic treatments including composite resin bonding, veneers and tooth whitening. We have several whitening options available from in-chair sessions to take-home kits. Speak to one of our dentists with any concerns you have about your smile so that we can tailor a treatment plan to you.

Can I bring in my own headphones?

Absolutely, we are more than happy for our patients to bring in their headphones so they can listen to whatever they choose throughout their dental treatment. If preferred, we can also provide noise-cancelling headphones which are able to connect to our ceiling-mounted TV screens.

Can I organise a sleep study through your clinic?

Yes you can. Our sleep studies use a device called the WatchPAT ONE- this was awarded the National Sleep Foundation’s 2020 SleepTech award. The device is mailed directly to your home address where you complete the study in the comfort of your own bed. After uploading the results, the unit is disposable and does not need to be cleaned or returned. The total cost is $325 for the study, which includes reporting by a sleep physician (a medical doctor specialising in sleep) and a telehealth consult with them if required. Your dentist will discuss the results with you and can help provide treatment for snoring or obstructive sleep apnea if required. This may include the fabrication of an oral appliance or an appropriate referral for a CPAP trial. For more information, click here.
